DIRECTOR of MUSIC
Dan Ryan

Dan was born and raised on the south side of Chicago.  He established himself early as a singer, competing in barbershop quartets since the age of eighteen and later as a choral director.  He currently directs the chancel choir at Heritage Presbyterian Church in Glendale.  Dan is entering his seventh year directing the Cactus Chordsmen Chorus of Paradise Valley.  In 2005, Dan served as Musical Director for the Robber Bridegroom at the Ethington Theater of Grand Canyon University of Phoenix.

Dan subsequently received a Bachelor of Music Education Degree in choral conducting at ASU.  He currently teaches music in the Phoenix school system.

Dan and his wife, Janice, reside in Peoria, AZ.

The Chordsmen feel it is a pleasure and a privilege to sing under Dan's direction.
The Chapter named Dan their Barbershopper of the Year for 2006.
